Who we are
Millard Advisory Partners Ltd operates this website and is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17182478. Our registered office is Fforest Villa, Llanelli, Wales, SA14 9SB.
For anything concerning your personal data, contact josh@millard-ap.com.
What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data collected through this website, under UK data protection law — the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. This site collects personal data in exactly two places: the contact form and the careers form. There is no account system, no newsletter and no analytics. Nothing you submit is stored on the website itself.
The contact form
If you send an enquiry, we collect your name, your email address and your message, and — only if you choose to provide them — your company and phone number.
We use these details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry. The lawful basis is your consent, which the form asks for before you submit. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete the correspondence.
Your submission is delivered to us as an email. It is not written to a database. We propose to keep enquiry correspondence for 24 months from our last exchange, then delete it, unless the enquiry has become a client relationship governed by its own engagement terms.
The careers form
If you register for our associate network, we collect your name, your email address, your discipline, your CV and any note you add. A CV usually contains further personal data — work history, qualifications and contact details — and we hold whatever yours includes.
We use these details for one purpose: to consider you for the associate network and for opportunities that match your discipline. The lawful basis is your consent, which the form asks for before you submit. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your details and CV.
Your registration and CV are delivered to us as an email with your CV attached. Nothing is written to a database or stored on the website. We hold CVs for 24 months from submission, then delete them unless you have renewed your registration in the meantime.
Who processes your data
Form submissions reach us through a short chain of service providers, each acting as a processor on our behalf:
- Resend (Resend, Inc.) dispatches the notification emails, including CV attachments. Resend processes data in the United States — outside the UK and EEA. That transfer is covered by the contractual safeguards in our agreement with Resend, based on the standard contractual clauses approved for UK international transfers.
- Microsoft 365 hosts the mailbox where submissions arrive and are read.
- Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host, Vercel records technical server logs, which include visitors' IP addresses; we use these only to operate and secure the site, on the lawful basis of legitimate interest. Routine operational logs may also record the name and email address attached to a form submission, for a short period set by the hosting platform.
We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and stores nothing in your browser — which is why it has no cookie banner.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email josh@millard-ap.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If what the site collects or how it is processed changes, this policy will be updated at the same time, with a new date below.
