MAP electrical engineers have designed substation primary and secondary systems, HV and LV distribution, earthing, protection and control for energy and infrastructure projects across the UK. They work to the relevant British and European standards and to the technical requirements of network operators, so that designs pass through acceptance rather than circling back with comments attached.
Electrical design also carries the project's interfaces. Cable routes cross the civil design; switchgear rooms constrain the structure; load schedules move as the mechanical plant develops. We hold those interfaces deliberately, issuing information in a sequence the wider design team can build on. That is what keeps an energisation programme honest.
